Welcome Scorpions families to season 2019 and a special welcome to all our new families who are joining the club for the first time.
We have 3 Motto words at Scorpions "RESPECT", "PRIDE" and "UNITY".
These 3 words are the foundations that we build our junior family community club on.
Blacktown Scorpions are one of the most successful junior rugby club in NSW with 5 age groups playing in the "A" Division (U10s,12s,13s,14s, & 15s) in 2018. This shows the talent that we have at the club.
Season 2018 was an exceptionally successful season. We were able to field Girls 7s -( U12s,14's and U16s with all our teams) - Minis, U10s - U15s with Boy's 15 a-side game. Congratulations to our U10s and U12s for bringing home the Premiership as well as the girls succeeding in the 7's circuit.
2019 promises to be another big year with all teams backing up to defend their titles. Progression and development is very important at grassroots level and we at Scorpions make this a priority.
Off field, we thank the committee of 2018 for all their efforts and work . We now farewell them and we welcome the 7 new committee members that make up the 8 for 2019 .Our New committee of volunteers will be very proactive and in due course get the little things that matter to make Scorpions successful on and off the field. The committee will continue to work hard to provide an inclusive and affordable community environment for our kids to do enjoy, have fun and play the game of Rugby ( "Game played in Heaven".)
As you can see we have continued to use the Teamapp website to keep our members and players informed of all news and events. Download our Blacktown Scorpions App to keep up to date with your team news and all information during the Rugby Season 2019.
We welcome current and new sponsors on board this season and also those that continue to support our great club; we look forward to our partnership and thank you for your support.
To all the coaches and team managers who volunteer their time and all the players we wish you all the "BEST" for season 2019.
Finally to all the parents and supporters there are many opportunities for you to volunteer and become involved in the club. If you are able to volunteer some time each week please see your team manager or one of the committee members and they will put you to work. We are a family community club
